Last Tuesday I gave a talk on Internet of Things Berlin Meetup 11 an event curated by Martin Spindler.
Matas Petrikas also spoke at the event, presenting a new connected toy project Vai Kai. It is still early days for Vai Kai, but the mission to build new generation of play experiences for children is exactly the kind of non-Spießer IoT we need more of.
Back to connected cars, though. The deck is now up. The presentation is set up as three key things that I have learnt from the launch of Vimcar SPOTS, the first IoT product I had the chance to work on.
If you have trouble gleaning the principal points from the presentation, here they are:
- Build IoT one compelling use case at a time;
- Service design is not just a buzzword;
- Prepare your Testing & QA infrastructure.
I am planning to tease these out over the coming weeks, through a few more blogposts and hopefully few more speaking slots.
Of course, if IoT Berlin sounds good to you, their next session featuring Intel Edison is on 16th of February.
